Gultekin Hajiyeva: “Public television should function before parliamentary elections”

APA was told by member of Azerbaijani delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of Europe (PACE), Deputy Gultekin Hajiyeva.

The deputy stated that, establishment of the public television is appreciated as aid to the democratization of the environment before election in Azerbaijan. According to her, it will have positive effect for the international image of Azerbaijan if PTV functions earlier and effectively.

G.Hajiyev also underlined that PACE Monitoring Committee expressed its concern over the delay of establishing the PTV and wants the television to function as soon as possible.
