Meeting between government and opposition was held

He thinks, meeting on establishment of dialogue government-opposition was not effective. "Unfortunately, we could not, reach compromise", F.Mustafayev underlined.  

He also indicated, despite on proposal to sign joint memorandum, where ruling party refused signing, opposition parties also refused signing memorandum was not signed. F. Mustafayev said two issues were considered in memorandum: improvement of electoral code and provision for free conducting of meetings.

In his turn, the deputy executive secretary of the party New Azerbaijan Mubariz Gurbanly indicated, meeting was constructive, it was agreed to continue negotiations at residence of party Musavat.

The chairman the party Vetendash Hemreyliyi ("Civil solidarity") Sabir Rustamkhanly indicated, meeting was constructive.

The head of the party Ana Veten (Motherland) Fazail Agamaly in his interview to agency Trend stated, the progress was achieved at the meeting. I presume, at the next meeting in residence of the party Musavat we will be able starting discussion of specific issues on changing Electoral code, he indicated.

The chairman of the party Azerbaycan National Independence of Azerbaijan  Ali Aliyev noted, despite on not achievement of results at the meeting, his party is for continuation of the dialogue.

The deputy head of Musavat Vurgun Eyub mentioned, his party is interested in continuation of the dialogue government-opposition.

The deputy executive secretary of party Yeni Azerbaijan Mubariz Gurbanly, the chairmen of the parties Ana Veten Fazail Agamaly and Social welfare Khanhuseyn Kyazimli participated at the meeting. The deputy head of Musavat, Vurgun Eyub, the chairman of the Supreme Mejlis party Azerbaijan Democratic party Akif Shakhbazov, the chairmen of the parties National Independence of Azerbaijan Ali Aliyev and "Civil solidarity" Sabir Rustamkhanly participated on behalf of opposition. The head of representative office of OSCE to Azerbaijan Maurisio Povesi presented at this meeting as the guest.
