Project on support to legal and court reforms in Azerbaijan to end late 2005

The project, which has been implemented since October 2002 jointly with the Azerbaijani Justice Ministry, targets assistance to upgrade of reforms held in this sector.

The assistance is directed at the improvement of the training centers for judges, employees of courts and law- defenders. Under the project new libraries were organized at the centers, while the database covering the changes in the legislation, is under establishment.
