Arrested opposition leaders will be released

Seven opposition leaders convicted for staging the post-election public disorder in Baku may be released on another presidential decree.

This information was given by the director of the President's Office socio-political department Mr. Ali Hasanov.

Mr. Hasanov said that appeals have been received from a number of international organizations and the Azeri public with regard to pardoning the opposition representatives.
