Minister for Foreign Affairs of Russia visits Baku

APA was informed of it by press center of Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The purpose of the visit is to discuss issues concerning development of mutual relations, conflicts in the region as well as condition around regulation of Upper Garabagh problem and etc. Russian officials announce recently of their position about Upper Garabagh conflict to be unchanged .This country wants the conflict to be solved on the basis of mutual understanding.

Sergey Lavrov is to meet Azerbaijan officials on February 3. First he will meet his counterpart Elmar Mammedyarov, and then the ministers will hold briefing together. Minister from Russia will be received by president Iham Aliyev after meeting with professors and students of Baku Slavic University, Murtuz Aleskerov- speaker of Milly Mejlis, first deputy Prime Minister Abbas Abbasov.  S.Lavrov is to return to Moscow in the evening on February 3./APA/
