UNDP: Azerbaijan conducted important work to implement SDGs

Azerbaijan has carried out important work for implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, Rastislav Vrbensky, Deputy Director, UNDP Regional Bureau for Europe and CIS, said at the Baku Forum on Sustainable Development Oct. 25.

He noted that Azerbaijan has already formed its principles.

Vrbenski said it is very important to bring the private sector in line with requirements of the Sustainable Development Goals.

The Baku Forum on Sustainable Development is being held as part of the International Humanitarian Forum.

The 6th International Humanitarian Forum began its work in Baku today. More than 580 representatives from 86 countries and 24 international organizations participate in the forum.
