President Aliyev views renovated school-lyceum No 62,secondary school No 10 in Nizami district [UPDATE]

Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev viewed conditions created at school-lyceum No 62 named after Khalid Guliyev in Nizami district, Baku on September 5 after a major overhaul.

Head of Baku City Executive Authority Hajibala Abutalibov informed the head of state of the reconstruction work, Azertac reported.

The building of the school was constructed in 1964. The school underwent a major overhaul under the "State Program for socio-economic development of Baku and its suburbs", which was approved by the President of Azerbaijan.

The territory of the 984-seat school occupies a total area of 11,000 square metres. The school-lyceum was supplied with all the necessary equipment.

The head of state also familiarized himself with the Healthy Education classes which were created in the school-lyceum.

The Healthy Education - Healthy Nation project aims to protect students' health in schools and to improve their educational achievements.

The reconstruction work was also done in football, volleyball and basketball grounds. Extensive landscaping work was done, and the lightning system was installed in the yard of the school.

President Aliyev also viewed conditions created at the secondary school No 10 in Nizami district, Baku, after a major overhaul.

The building of the 1176-seat school was constructed in 1979. This school also underwent a major overhaul under the "State Program for socio-economic development of Baku and its suburbs", which was approved by the President of Azerbaijan.

The school features 49 classrooms, two computer rooms, three laboratories, a gym and conference hall, military room and canteen.

The landscaping work was done, green areas were created and the lighting system was installed in the yard of the school.

President Aliyev later viewed conditions created at the secondary school No 201 in Nizami district, Baku, after a major overhaul.

The school has two blocks. One of the blocks was constructed in 1964, while the second one in 2007. All necessary conditions were created in all 68 classrooms of the 1400-seat school. The school has five computer rooms, three laboratories, a chess room, gym, conference hall, military room, two libraries and canteen.
