President Aliyev, First Lady inaugurate newly renovated Baku Railway Station [PHOTO]

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva viewed the conditions created at an administrative building of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC after the reconstruction on February 10.

Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC Javid Gurbanov informed the head of state and his spouse about the work carried out here.

The building, which covers a total area of 29,000 square meters, was constructed in 1956. There are 505 rooms in the building.

There are photo stands reflecting national leader Heydar Aliyev`s and President Ilham Aliyev`s political activities, as well as their attention to the development of railway in the country. A bust of the national leader was installed in the foyer of the building.

All conditions have been created here for employees. The building has a 280-seat auditorium. All administrative rooms are supplied with the necessary equipment.

Also, the Baku Railway Station in Baku was inaugurated after the renovation.

President Aliyev and his spouse viewed the conditions created at the Baku Railway Station after the reconstruction.
