PACE committees to convene meetings

Monitoring and Political Affairs and Democracy committees of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe will hold meetings in Paris from May 22-25.

Chairman of the committee for international relations and interparliamentary ties at Azerbaijan`s parliament, head of the country`s delegation to PACE Samad Seyidov and MP Sabir Haj?yev will attend the events.

The meetings will discuss a wide range of issues, including Libya’s future between the threats of terrorism and a democratic prospect, and post-monitoring dialogue with Turkey.

The participants will consider an information note on the fact-finding visit to Baku, and hear an oral report by the co-rapporteurs on their fact-finding visit to Tbilisi.
