Parliamentary election in Azerbaijan going on without incidents

No incidents have been recorded in Azerbaijan’s parliamentary election, the country’s Interior Ministry told Trend Nov.1.

The election is going on in a normal mode as of 13:45 (UTC/GMT + 4 hours), according to the ministry.

Law enforcement agencies of Azerbaijan are operating in emergency mode from Oct.28 to Nov.3 in connection with the parliamentary election. A corresponding order has been signed by the Interior Minister Ramil Usubov.

The parliamentary election is being held in Azerbaijan Nov. 1. Some 503 international observers from 40 organizations and over 66,000 local observers monitor the parliamentary election in Azerbaijan. As many as 767 candidates claim for 125 seats in the Azerbaijani parliament.
