Czech president intends to visit Azerbaijan

Czech President Miloš Zeman is likely to pay a visit to Azerbaijan, Colombia and Mexico this year, Czech Presidential Office foreign section head Hynek Kmoní?ek said, The Praguepost reported referring to the Czech News Agency.

President Zeman plans to go to Azerbaijan, the second-biggest oil importer to the Czech Republic, in mid-September, presidential spokesman Ji?í Ov?á?ek confirmed this information.

The trade turnover between the two countries amounted to $637.9 million in 2014, the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee said. The exports from Azerbaijan was carried out in the amount of $592 million, while import - $45.9 million.
