President Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by the Austrian Federal Minister for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by Federal Minister for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Austria Sebastian Kurz.

The head of state expressed satisfaction with the level of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Austria. President Ilham Aliyev stressed the importance of high-level reciprocal visits in terms of the strengthening of ties between the two countries. Touching upon the cooperation in the economic field, the head of state described participation of Austrian companies in important projects in Azerbaijan as a good example of this. President Ilham Aliyev noted that there were ample opportunities for further development of relations between the countries in political, economic, energy and other fields.

Austrian Federal Minister for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs Sebastian Kurz expressed satisfaction with his first visit to Azerbaijan. Noting that he was accompanied by a large delegation of businessmen, the Austrian Minister said the visit created good opportunities for discussing the issues related to the development of bilateral relations on various fronts, including political, economic and other spheres.
