Stefan Fule salutes efforts by OCSE to settle prolonged conflicts

EU Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy, Stefan Fule welcomed the OSCE's continued efforts to bring resolution to protracted conflicts, as well as Nagorno Karabakh conflict, European Commission's official website said, Trend reported.

In his statement after the meeting with OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier, Stefan Fule expressed appreciation for the organization's important role in neighbouring regions of the EU, including the Eastern Partnership Region as well as Central Asia.

Stefan Fule said that strong OSCE presence in these regions is critical in terms of support for democratic reforms and values.
