Baku hails Geneva agreement between Iran and P5+1

Azerbaijan welcomes the positive direction of the recent talks on the Iranian nuclear program held between Iran and the P5+1 in Geneva, head of Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry's press service Elman Abdullayev told journalists on Nov. 25.

It should be noted that Tehran and the foreign ministers of the P5+1 countries (Russia, the U.S., China, Britain, France, Germany) following the talks in Geneva reached an agreement under which Iran would reduce works within the nuclear program, will provide international experts with access for more thorough inspections, and the economic sanctions against the country will be weakened.

The first stage of implementation of the agreement is meant for six months. This period will be devoted to the continuation of talks to reach a final agreements on the parameters required for peaceful nuclear activities.
