Azerbaijani flag raised in NYC

The Flag of Azerbaijan Republic has been raised on Wall Street in New York in connection with the Independence Day of Azerbaijan. The ceremony of flag raising, organized with assistance of the Azerbaijan Association of New York, was attended by the representatives of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in the United States, representatives of the diplomatic mission of Azerbaijan at United Nations, and members of the Azerbaijani and Turkish communities in U.S. Azerbaijani flag has been raised several times by now during May and October celebrations of the Republic Day and Independence Day of Azerbaijan, respectively.
