Azerbaijani citizens voting at Embassy in Beijing

The polling station has opened at Azerbaijan`s Embassy in Beijing as the country`s citizens across the world start voting in the presidential election. Taking into account time difference with Baku, Beijing is first where Azerbaijani citizens began casting ballots.

The voting in the poling station is conducted in accordance with Azerbaijan`s Constitution, Election Code and relevant legislation. The number of eligible voters in China is nearly 300.

Some 7.9% of Azerbaijani eligible voters in Beijing have cast ballots in the polling station set up at the country`s Embassy as of 10.00 local time.

Twenty-two Azerbaijani citizens have already voted in the presidential election as of 10.00 Beijing time.

No frauds or irregularities have been reported.
