OSCE PA observation group head: Election process in Azerbaijan has been improved

The election process in Azerbaijan has been described as “improving” by head of the observation mission of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Doris Barnett who met chairman of the Milli Majlis, the Parliament, Ogtay Asadov.

Barnett hailed preparation work ahead of the presidential election in Azerbaijan slated for October 9.

Asadov stressed the fact that the mission of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly will monitor the presidential election.

The Milli Majlis chairman said every condition has been created for holding transparent and democratic election in the country, adding web cameras have been installed in 20% of polling stations.
