Azerbaijan, Singapore seek co-op boost

Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met Singaporean counterpart Kasiviswanathan Shanmugam on the sidelines of the 68th Regular Session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 68) in New York, the U.S.

The sides discussed how to develop the Azerbaijan- Singapore ties in a variety of the fields, as well as strengthening the bilateral cooperation within international organizations.

The two ministers also agreed to organize reciprocal visits between the two countries` officials.

Azerbaijan's top diplomat briefed Mr. Shanmugam on the current state of the peace talks to settle the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
