Date of Iranian parliamentary delegation visit to Azerbaijan known

The schedule of the members of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of Iran's Islamic Consultative Assembly (Parliament) to Azerbaijan has been announced.

The delegation led by Javad Jahangirzade includes two other members of Parliamentary Committee for National Security and Foreign Policy Ahmad Shukhani and Ibrahim Agamammadli. Iranian MPs will arrive in Azerbaijan late on September 23, a message from the Iranian embassy to Azerbaijan published on Monday said.

According to the message, on September 24, representatives of the Iranian parliament will meet with Azerbaijani parliament speaker Ogtay Asadov. The Iranian MPs will hand a special message from Iranian parliament speaker Ali Larijani to Ogtay Asadov and will discuss the issues of development of inter-parliamentary relations between the two countries.

In addition according to the message, the meeting of the Iranian parliamentary delegation with Deputy Chairman and Executive Secretary of the New Azerbaijan Party Ali Ahmadov is expected.

The meeting of the Iranian MPs with the Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade is also planned within the visit.

On September 25 the delegation of the Iranian Parliament will leave Azerbaijan for Georgia.
