President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of the National Golf Club in country’s Guba district.

The Head of the State cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the club.

The President and First Lady were informed that the Club has been built since the past year and has 44 golf cars.

The Head of State toured the club’s territory which occupies a total are of 92 hectares by an electric car.

The complex also includes three artificial lakes for golf trainings.

President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva were presented memorable gifts.

The Head of the State praised conditions created at the facility and gave certain instructions.

As part of his Guba visit, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has inspected the construction works at the 5-star “Rixos Quba Azerbaijan” hotel in the Aski-Igrig village.

President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva were informed that the construction area of the complex covers 75 hectares, while the total area is 202 hectares. The ropeway has been installed here, too. The hotel complex will include construction of the restaurants, a swimming pool, sports ground and other facilities.

The complex consists of 8-storey building and 16 cottages.

An artificial lake covering 27.3 square meters has been created, around of which there is a restaurant and helicopter ground. The complex will also include construction of ground for skiing and other facilities.

As stated, the hotel includes a mini-cinema, sports hall and other rooms, as well as tennis court, volleyball and football grounds.

The Head of State gave relevant instructions and recommendations.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on September 18 took part at the opening of the educational, sports and cultural center of Azerbaijan State Economic University in Guba District.

First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva was presented flowers.

The President cut the ribbon symbolizing opening of the Center.

University’s rector Shamsaddin Hajiyev informed that the Complex had been built in 7 ha area in the region’s Ikinji Nugedi village and has all conditions for the rest of tutorial staff and students of University. The three-storey hotel houses 87 rooms, a summer school with modern infrastructure for 350 students. The auditoriums have been equipped with necessary accommodation, a dining room and a meeting hall for 205 people.

Numerous sports halls, swim pool and play grounds will serve the staff here.

In the sideline of his trip to the Guba District, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev inaugurated the educational and cultural center of Baku State University here.

The First Lady was presented flowers.

Rector of the University Abel Maharramov informed on the facility, construction of which, according to him, started in September 2011 and ended in September current year.

The national leader Heydar Aliyev’s bust has been erected in the foyer, provided with photo stands narrating on the history of University.

The President and First Lady familiarized themselves with the facility.

The 400-seat Center with modern rooms and halls, sport grounds, as well as nice dining room, numerous labs and library will serve the staff members and students of University.

The President cut a ribbon symbolizing the opening of the building.

The Head of State was informed that all conditions had been created here for the organization`s activities. The construction of the facility started at the end of 2012, ended in September, 2013.

A bust to national leader Heydar Aliyev was installed in the foyer of the building. Photo stands reflecting activities of the national leader were also installed here.

The administrative building has 10 rooms, an 80-seat auditorium, conference and meeting halls.

President Ilham Aliyev toured the rooms.

The Azerbaijani leader praised the work done here.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has inspected the reconstructed bridge “Girmizi Korpu” over Gudyalchay River in Girmizi Gesebe, Guba District.

The Azerbaijani leader and the First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva viewed photo stands reflecting a scheme of the bridge.

“Girmizi korpu” bridge was constructed in 1851-1854.

The President was informed that the reconstruction of the bridge started in early 2012.

The Head of State was informed on the main parameters of the arch bridge with 160 meters in length, and 7.6 meters in width.

President Ilham Aliyev inspected Heydar Aliyev Garden in Girmizi Gesebe (Red Town) settlement in Guba District.

The President was told that the Heydar Aliyev Garden in Girmizi Gesebe is an indicator of a wide range re-development and landscaping works carried out in all of the regions of Azerbaijan.

Construction of such kind of leisure spots in the most remote settlements of the country serves for the residents spending their free time efficiently. A successful policy led by the Azerbaijani government benefits each region of the country.

Azerbaijan’s National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s bronze statue was erected in the modern and high standard, luxury garden.

The leisure center covers a total area of 27,500 square meters.

Extensive landscaping works have been carried out at the Heydar Aliyev Garden. The rest of the children have also been in the focus, as various attractions and facilities were installed in the corner for kids. A three-storey guest house, cafes, tea-houses as well as a club for the elderly have been created in the garden. Garden has been equipped with a modern lighting system. After familiarizing with the Heydar Aliyev Garden, Azerbaijani President has met with the Girmizi Gesebe residents.

The Azerbaijani President cut a ribbon symbolizing the opening of the theatre.

The Head of State and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva were informed that the construction of the 1000-seat theatre started at the beginning of the year.

The Azerbaijani leader and first lady Mehriban Aliyeva were also told about the Flag Complex in the Heydar Aliyev Park. The flag pole is 78 meters in height.

A children`s entertainment centre was also built in the Park.

President Ilham Aliyev was informed that the three-storey building was constructed with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

The Center has a 250-seat auditorium, a cafe, a karaoke bar, tennis and billiard halls and a chess room.

President Ilham Aliyev has attended a ceremony on the occasion of completion of the water supply and sanitation system reconstruction project in Guba.

President of the Azersu joint-stock company Gorkhmaz Huseynov told the President that the project envisages renovation of the sanitation services and improvement of water supply for 46 thousand people in the town of Guba as well as Krasnaya Sloboda, Mirzamammadkend and Timiryazev villages. The new building was constructed for the Guba Canal Department.

President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva toured the facilities in the building.

The SCADA industrial control system was installed in the building. The Geographical Information System created here will help control the network infrastructure by application of digital maps based on geographical database. This system is a winner of the two big contests.

The state budget-funded project was completed within 22 months. Gudyalchai is the source for supplying Gubal and surrounding settlements with water.

President Ilham Aliyev was told that the SCADA system is designed for controlling the water supply and sanitation systems from a single point. The Geographical Information System is used as a geographical database. This system is integrated into the Customer Data, SCADA, Electronic Security systems and provides comprehensive information about any facility in the water and sanitation infrastructure, facilitates rapid response to any accidents.

President Aliyev pressed the button delivering water into the network.

The building also houses the modern laboratory for testing water.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today attended the opening of a new administrative building of the Guba District Executive Authorities.

The Head of State and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva were informed that old building of the Executive Authorities was built in 1959. The construction of the new building started in August, 2012, and ended in September, 2013.

A bust to national leader Heydar Aliyev was installed in the foyer of the building. There are photo stands reflecting the national leader`s activities and his visits to Guba District.

The three-storey building has 35 working rooms, a 250-seat auditorium, and a 50-seat canteen.

President Ilham Aliyev and first lady Mehriban Aliyeva viewed a 25-seat conference hall.

The Head of State praised the work done here.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today arrived in the country’s Guba District.

The Head of State and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva started their visit by placing flowers at a monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev in the city center.

Head of the Guba District Executive Authorities Mubariz Aghayev informed the President about the construction work and landscaping in the district.
