President Ilham Aliyev has today received outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Belgium to Azerbaijan Luc Truyens.

The Head of State lauded the ambassador`s contribution to building good cooperative relations between Azerbaijan and Belgium in recent years.

They praised the bilateral relations in different fields, especially political, economic and business ones.

The Azerbaijani President and the outgoing Belgian Ambassador expressed confidence the relations between the two countries would further expand.

They also discussed a range of other issues, including the Azerbaijan-Europe cooperation.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received Greek ambassador Ioannis Metaxas who is completing his diplomatic mission in the country.

The Head of State praised the Greek ambassador`s tenure in Baku, saying it marked successful development of the bilateral relations.

They stressed the importance of reciprocal visits in strengthening the ties, and noted there were ample opportunities for boosting the cooperation.

They also explored ways of strengthening partnership relations in a range of areas, particularly investment making and energy.
