Azerbaijani, Armenian delegations meet in Strasbourg

Azerbaijani and Armenian parliamentary delegations have met on the sidelines of the PACE summer session in Strasbourg.

The meeting was attended by PACE president Jean-Claude Mignon.

In a talk with journalists following the meeting, Mignon said: “It was a meeting between friends – Azerbaijanis and Armenian parliamentary delegations and the president of the PACE.”

According to him, the meeting aimed to outline the future format of joint work.

“I must say that I felt the presence of sincere desire to work together from both sides.”

Mignon added: “We decided to continue such meetings. We will meet on the sidelines of next sessions."
