Azerbaijani Parliament passes statement on European Parliament's resolution

The Azerbaijani Parliament adopted a statement on the European Parliament's resolution on June 13.

Vice-speaker Valeh Asgarov read out the statement at a special parliamentary session on Friday.

According to the statement, Azerbaijan is one of the founders of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly. An association agreement with the EU is being prepared.

Planned discussion of Azerbaijan's issues at the plenary session on June 13 and the adoption of a resolution have raised questions.
