Azerbaijan's Parliament Speaker to appeal European Parliament

Speaker of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Ogtay Asadov is going to appeal the President of the European Parliament.

This was stated by Mr. Ogtay Asadov at the today’s session of Parliament.

Considering unlawful acts against resolutions of the United Nations Security Council, the Council of Europe and other international organizations, the Speaker condemned illegal visits of several MPs of the European Parliament, as well as, deputies from France, Cyprus and other countries to the occupied Azerbaijani lands.

Ogtay Asadov stressed that he would appeal the President of the European Parliament on this topic and called youth of the country to protest this case.

“First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, MP Mehriban Aliyeva pushed draft amnesty act to the Milli Majlis. The initiative will be discussed at May 7 meeting of Milli Majlis dedicated to the 90th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev,” Ogtay Asadov stated.
