SAM announces results of Think Tank Forum OIC Member States by publishing book

Center for Strategic Studies under the President of Azerbaijan (SAM) released the English-language book “Change and Transformation in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Countries. 3rd Think Tank Forum O?C Member States”.

The book contains reports, delivered during the 3rd think tank forum OIC member states held in Baku on 2-3 March 2012 with the participation of government officials, scholars, MPs, heads of think tanks, famous local and international experts from more than 40 countries.
The publication starts with a message by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to the event participants.

The reports contained in the book are divided into five thematic sections: "The dynamics of social, economic and political change," "Vision of the development of national and international policies," "Innovations in administration and governance", "Mission for peace and conflict resolution in Islamic countries" and "Creation, support and development of new think tanks".
The book contains 64 reports, as well as the "Baku Declaration", adopted at the end of the third think tank forum OIC member states.

The book contains speeches by head of Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan, academician Ramiz Mehdiyev, Special Representative of OIC secretary general Omur Orhu, chairman of the Center for Strategic Studies Turkey-Asia Suleyman Shensoy, and Head of the Department for Political Analysis and Information Support of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Elnur Aslanov.
