Azerbaijani ambassador presents credentials to Timor-Leste’s president

Azerbaijani ambassador Tamerlan Garayev has delivered his credentials to the President of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste Taur Matan Ruak, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Indonesia accredited to Timor-Leste, said today.

The ambassador expressed interest in developing the cooperation bilaterally and within international organizations at the meeting with the president.

Timor-Leste's president has stressed the importance of developing cooperation between the two countries, as well as examining Azerbaijan's experience for possible assistance in the development of the country.

The Azerbaijani diplomat stressed the importance of mutual visits between the two countries and the establishment of legal framework.
