MP says launch of Azerspace-1demonstrates Azerbaijan`s economic strength

“The launch of Azerbaijan`s first communications satellite shows the country`s economic strength. Only economically powerful countries can achieve it,” chairman of economic policy standing committee of Azerbaijan`s Parliament Ziyad Samedzade said.

He stressed the economic power of Azerbaijan was increasing annually.
“Azerbaijan is known as a rapidly developing country in the world. The positive development trends pave the way for the strengthening of the country`s might and prestige.”

“The Azerbaijani model of development produces successful results as it is achieved by both the economic and political reforms. The Azerbaijani government aims to increase indicators characterizing social development. The first communications satellite will certainly bring economic dividends for Azerbaijan. We will see the results of this in future,” Samedzade added.
