YAP Executive Secretary commented on launch of 'Azerspace-1'

The launch of first communications satellite Azerspace-1 is a historical event for Azerbaijan. I congratulate the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the people of our country, vice-chairman of YAP, Executive Secretary Ali Ahmadov told a press conference.
Ahmadov said “we experience a landmark event in the history of Azerbaijan that indicates all-round progress of the country. This is also the embodiment of modernization, the country’s bright plan to acquire the modern technologies.”

At his words, this is an integral part of realization of the concept of Azerbaijan that owns modern, powerful and update technologies.
“The launch of first communications satellite Azerspace-1 will play an exclusive role in reinforcement of the image of Azerbaijan on the international arena and promote technological progress in the country”, Ahmadov emphasized.
