Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States starts in Baku

It was proposed that the First Forum of Diaspora Organisations of the Turkic-speaking countries would be held in Baku, chairman of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora Nazim Ibrahimov told media today.

"I am sure that this idea will be accepted positively," he said. "The forum is planned to be held in Baku during 2013."

He said that it is planned to develop and submit the strategy of diasporas of Turkic-speaking countries at this forum in the future.

The first meeting of ministers dealing with the diaspora's affairs and heads of organisations of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking countries started in Baku today.
