Azerbaijan, Iran to discuss consular issues in Baku

Azerbaijan and Iran will hold a meeting on consular affairs in Baku, Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohsen Pakayin said in an interview with ISNA news agency today.

The meeting will be held in the second half of February, Pakayin said.

The ambassador said that Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hassan Gashgavi will visit Azerbaijan for this purpose.

Issues related to the citizens of both countries, the exchange of prisoners and students' problems are planned to be considered at the meeting.

It should be stressed that the Azerbaijani-Iranian meeting on consular affairs was conducted last in 2010.
