Azerbaijan- UN ties discussed

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov today has met Antonius Broek, UN Resident Coordinator/UNDP Resident Representative to Azerbaijan, the Ministry`s press service reported.

They exchanged views on various questions, including ongoing regional and global processes.
The UN official hailed Azerbaijan`s humanitarian contribution to numerous countries. He especially noted humanitarian projects being implemented by Azerbaijan International Development Agency (AIDA) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Afghanistan and African continent.

The sides expressed assurance that cooperation between Azerbaijan and UNDP would further develop.
