Azerbaijani President signs decree to declare 2013 the “Year of ICT”

 President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree to declare 2013 the year of Information and Communication Technologies.

According to the decree, the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies in cooperation with the National Academy of Science of the country is empowered to prepare and submit a plan of measures on this issue to the head of state.

The Cabinet of Ministers is empowered to settle all issues emanating from this decree.
