Iran can help Azerbaijan in studying general history

Iran is ready to help the countries of the former Soviet Union in studying their history. Spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Ramin Mehmanparast announced this on Tuesday, answering journalists' questions about the country's position on studying general history of Azerbaijan and Iran, Iranian news website Iribnews reported on Tuesday.

A large part of the history of these countries which gained independence, was reflected in documents in Farsi and Iranian specialists are ready to assist in the study of this general history, Mehmanparast said.

He said the history should be studied based on reliable documents and sources which are in Iran.
