
The presentation of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Lithuania (AYOL) and its website was held in Vilnius. The organization was founded by a group of Azerbaijani students studying in Kaunas.
The Organization is aimed at uniting Azerbaijani youth living and studying in Lithuania, and strengthening the friendship between the two countries.
The event was attended by the ambassador of Azerbaijan to Lithuania Hasan Mammadzade, Head of the Lithuania-Azerbaijan Interparliamentary Friendship Group Juras Pozhela, representative of the Azerbaijani community of Nagorno-Karabakh Orkhan Akbarov, deputies of the Lithuanian Parliament, political leaders of the country, Azerbaijani students studying in Lithuanian universities, representatives of Azerbaijani youth organization of Lithuania and the Diaspora.
The ambassador stressed the importance of the AYOL in terms of uniting the representatives of Azerbaijani youth in Lithuania. He has expressed hope that every member of AYOL will contribute to this organization. The ambassador expressed hope that AYOL will help popularize Azerbaijan in Lithuania, serve as a bridge between the youth of the two countries, thus contributing to the strengthening of relations between Azerbaijan and Lithuania.
Chairman of the Lithuania - Azerbaijan Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group Juras Pazhela congratulated AYOL members on an important event, adding that the newly created organization will bring together young people of Azerbaijan and Lithuania and strengthen bilateral relations.
