Iranian newspaper posts article on national leader Heydar Aliyev

The Tabriz-based Shahriyar newspaper (www.shahriyaronline.ir) has posted an article on national leader Heydar Aliyev.

The article narrates on the national leader`s historical services to the people of Azerbaijan and his efforts to establish peace and harmony in the region. It says people of Azerbaijan turned to the great leader to return to power in the light of the governmental crisis in May-June 1993. Then-leadership of Azerbaijan were made to invite Heydar Aliyev to Azerbaijan.

On the foreign policy of Azerbaijan, the article notes good neighborhood and sincere friendship were vitally important for national leader Heydar Aliyev. Thanks to these principles, Heydar Aliyev made serious efforts and achieved important results to build normal Iran-Azerbaijan relations.
