Netherland hosts conference on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict

 The Netherlands Parliament has hosted an international conference on the “Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and problems of the South Caucasus region” organized by Benelux Azerbaijanis Congress (BAC) and Union European Turkish Democrats.

The conference brought together Azerbaijani and Georgian ambassadors to Netherlands, accredited members of diplomatic corps in the country, as well as representatives of Azerbaijani and Turkish Diasporas.

Opening the ceremony BAC representative Sahil Gasimov recalled that 10 December is Human Rights Day. Saying that while Azerbaijanis living in the different countries of the world respect all rights of other people Gasimov stressed the significance of paying attention to the violation of the human rights within the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Azerbaijani MP Ganira Pashayeva underlined that the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is a main danger of the regional security. According to her, in spite of the active work of Turkish Diaspora in the US, France and Netherlands they can not succeed in a range of issues.

The conference adopted a declaration addressing to the leaders of the European countries, heads of the international organization and influential political figures on the Armenian aggression and indifference of the world community to this problem.
