President Ilham Aliyev inaugurates several objects in Fuzuli - UPDATE - PHOTOS

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has today officially opened the Fuzuli Hydroelectric Power Station.President of Azerenerji company Etibar Pirverdiyev told the Head of State the facility covered a total area of 14 hectares. The 25.2 MW station will be linked to the country`s power system through “Harami” substation in Fuzuli.
The foundation stone for the facility was laid in April, 2009 as part of President Ilham Aliyev`s visit to Fuzuli. Construction was carried out by local Azenco company.
The Head of State pushed the start button.
The facility will employ 35 people at the initial stage. The Fuzuli Hydroelectric Power Station will contribute to strengthening energy security and sustainability of Aran region.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today inaugurated a freezing warehouse complex in
Fuzuli district.
The total cost of the complex is 4.5 million manats. The facility occupies a total area of two hectares.
The warehouse has a capacity of 5,000 tons. The complex has German-, Italian- and Finnish-made equipment. The facility will be used for storing vegetables, mostly potato and onion, cultivated by IDPs living in Fuzuli and adjacent districts.
The complex will contribute to improving the welfare of local population, including IDPs, and to increasing the production of vegetables in the region.
Executive Director of the National Entrepreneurship Support Fund Shirzad Abdullayev told the Head of State some 16.2 million manats had been allocated to 627 entrepreneurs in the Yukhari Garabagh economic district. He said the Fund has also granted 10.8 million manats for five high technology investment projects. According to him, the implementation of the projects will create nearly 1,600 jobs.
The President was informed of newly-commissioned Garabagh Broyler poultry factory. The facility was built in 1994 in Garabagh village in Fuzuli, which was liberated from the Armenian occupation under national leader Heydar Aliyev. The factory costs 7.5 million manats, of which 5 million manats were provided by the National Entrepreneurship Support Fund.
The facility will have an annual capacity of 2,100 tons of poultry meat. The factory created 120 jobs for IDPs.

The Head of State was informed that the Chess School covers a total area of 500 square meters. The facility was provided with necessary equipment. A bust to national leader Heydar Aliyev was installed in the foyer of the facility.

The Head of State cut a ribbon symbolizing the opening of the 880-seat school, and toured it.
The President was told that the construction of the school started in September, 2011 on the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
The two-storey school covers a total area of 3,170 square meters. Photo stands reflecting national leader Heydar Aliyev`s and President Ilham Aliyev`s care and attention to development of education in the country were installed in the foyer of the school.
The school has 22 classrooms, a canteen, a library, a computer room, a gym, a 130-seat auditorium and labs. A bust to national leader Heydar Aliyev was installed here.
The second floor features photo stands reflecting national leader Heydar Aliyev`s and academician Zarifa Aliyeva`s lifetime and activity.
The Head of State praised conditions created in the school.

The Head of State cut a ribbon symbolizing the opening of the facility, and toured it.
President Ilham Aliyev was informed that the reconstruction of the Palace started in June, 2011 and ended in August, 2012.
The two-storey building of the Cultural Palace covers a total area of 1472 square meters. A bust to national leader Heydar Aliyev was installed in the foyer of the facility.
There are photo stands reflecting national leader Heydar Aliyev`s and President Ilham Aliyev`s care and attention to development of cultural fields.
The Horadiz City Cultural Palace has a 135-seat hall, offices, training rooms and a picture gallery.
The Azerbaijani President praised conditions created here.

The Head of State cut a ribbon symbolizing the opening of the facility, and toured it. President Ilham Aliyev was informed that the two-storey building covers a total area of 980 square meters.
Photo stands reflecting national leader Heydar Aliyev`s and President Ilham Aliyev`s activity, their visits to Fuzuli, as well as their meetings with youth were installed in the foyer of the facility.
The Center has a cafe, a billiard room, a shooting club, a computer room, a sewing circle and a modern lighting system.

The Head of State was informed that the Chess School covers a total area of 500 square meters. The facility was provided with necessary equipment. A bust to national leader Heydar Aliyev was installed in the foyer of the facility.

A monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev was erected here. The Heydar Aliyev Park has a green area, a fountain, a cafe, a modern lighting system, benches, ornamental trees and flowering bushes.
The Head of State praised the work done here.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today visited a passenger station in the Horadiz Railway Station after major overhaul.
The Head of State viewed a photo stand reflecting previous look of the passenger station. Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov briefed President Ilham Aliyev on the reconstruction work here. He said all conditions had been created here for the passengers.
The passenger station was built in 1958. The two-storey facility covers a total area of 1000 square meters. Photo stands reflecting the activity of national leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev were installed here.
The station has a mother-and-child room, a meeting hall, a canteen, a medical point and administrative rooms. The facility was provided with new equipment.
