National leader Heydar Aliyev commemorated in Jordan

Azerbaijan`s Embassy in Jordan has organized an event to commemorate national leader Heydar Aliyev`s memory. The event has brought together Secretary General of the Jordan-Azerbaijan Friendship Society, officials of the socio-political circles of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, employees of the country`s diplomatic mission.

Ambassador Sabir Agabayov spoke of the national leader`s role on strengthening of the country, as well as prevention of civil war, restoration of the socio-political and economic stability in Azerbaijan.

He also briefed the participants on national leader Heydar Aliyev`s policy which was successfully continuing by President Ilham Aliyev.

Secretary General of the Jordan-Azerbaijan Friendship Society Hamshavi Khalid Yakoub shared his impressions on memory of the national leader. The event also featured the photo-exhibition and film on national leader Heydar Aliyev`s lifetime and activity.

The participants then visited the prospect named after Heydar Aliyev in Bader region of Amman.
