Kuwait commemorated Heydar Aliyev - PHOTOS

An event in connection with the ninth anniversary of the death of the great leader Heydar Aliyev was held at the Azerbaijani Embassy in Kuwait, the Embassy said on Wednesday.

Along with embassy officials, the event was attended by compatriots who live and work in Kuwait, as well as prominent public figures and guests.

Following his opening speech, the Ambassador Tural Rzayev informed the participants about the life and activities of the national leader, the great services that he rendered to the Azerbaijani people and their government.

Event participants watched a film dedicated to the life and activities of the great leader, and visited an exhibit of Heydar Aliyev's books and photographs.

During the event, the memory of the great leader Heydar Aliyev was honored with a moment of silence, prayers were also said.
