National leader Heydar Aliyev to be commemorated in Tbilisi

Tbilisi will host evening of "friendship, music and poetry". The event will begin at 18:00 on Dec.12, and will be held at the initiative of the David Gamrekeli Charitable Foundation. The event is sponsored by the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR).

The evening is dedicated to the memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev. A documentary film "Covenant of friendship", which is dedicated to Heydar Aliyev, will open the evening.

Classic works of Georgian, Azerbaijani and Italian composers will be performed at the event.

Representatives of the Georgian government, diplomatic corps and public figures are invited to the evening.
