Azerbaijan-Qatar ties mulled

Azerbaijan's newly appointed Ambassador to Qatar Tofig Abdullayev presented the copies of his credentials to the country's Foreign Minister Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Attiyah, Qatari newspaper "Al-Arab" reported on Wednesday.

The meeting discussed bilateral relations and further cooperation between the two countries.

Abdullayev replaced Eldar Salimov on this post. Prior to his appointment as ambassador to Qatar, Abdullayev was Azerbaijan's ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
