'No Azerbaijanis among victims of clashes in Egypt'

No Azerbaijani has been injured in the clashes in Egypt between the supporters and opponents of President Mohamed Morsi, spokesman for Foreign Ministry Elman Abdullayev said.

 
He said they regularly contact the Azerbaijani embassy regarding the Cairo happenings. The embassy in its turn keeps in touch with the Azerbaijani citizens living there. “The embassy has especially advised the Azerbaijani citizens not to go to the central parts of the city. The embassy continues working normally,” he said.
