Azerbaijani, Iranian border services' heads to meet

“A meeting is planned with commander of Iran’s Border Troops, General Huseyn Zulfugari,” chief of the State Border Service, Lieutenant-General Elchin Guliyev told journalists.

He added that necessary measures on full protection of the borders in the national sector of the Caspian Sea are about to be completed.

“The Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea is fully under control. Necessary activities are carried out with all ships, they are being instructed. If a ship crosses the boundaries of its country, it is the duty of the coast guard to detain it and take necessary measures. We have enough power to organize the border security of Azerbaijan, both our physical potential and new conditions allow it,” he said.
