PABSEC presidency to switch from Azerbaijan to Bulgaria

Azerbaijan will hand over its PABSEC presidency to Bulgaria as part of the Assembly`s 40th meeting in Baku on November 27-28.

According to PABSEC website, the meeting will focus on the development prospects of the member countries’ parliamentary cooperation, economic and environmental problems and social-cultural development issues.

BSEC Secretary General Victor Tvircun will arrive in Baku to attend the meeting. The 47th meeting of the PABSEC Bureau and the 40th meeting of the Permanent Committee will be held on November 26.

The PABSEC presidency term is six months.
