Azerbaijani President holds several meetings- UPDATE - PHOTOS

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received a Ukrainian delegation led by Minister of Defense Dmytro Salamatin.

Dmytro Salamatin conveyed Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych`s greetings and congratulations on the occasion of the Constitution Day of Azerbaijan to the Head of State.

The Minister said the Ukrainian President had always paid attention to expansion of relations with Azerbaijan. Dmytro Salamatin noted Ukraine was interested in developing bilateral relationship with Azerbaijan.

The Head of State said Azerbaijan-Ukraine relations had a big history, noting Azerbaijan attaches great importance to development of these ties even more.

President Ilham Aliyev stressed the importance of reciprocal visits in terms of strengthening bilateral relationship.

The President expressed hope Dmytro Salamatin`s visit to Azerbaijan would contribute to enhancing cooperation between the two countries` defense authorities.

The Head of State asked the Minister to pass on his greetings to the Ukrainian President.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has today received a delegation led by Lasar Gruev, President of Bulgarian Supreme Court of Cassation.

The Head of State said bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria were developing successfully in all fields, including in economy and energy.

President Ilham Aliyev noted that there were good prospects for expansion of these ties.
The President stressed the importance of reciprocal visits in terms of enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

President Ilham Aliyev hailed Azerbaijan-Bulgaria cooperation within international organizations, including in the European Union and NATO.

The Head of State noted that Lasar Gruev`s visit to Azerbaijan created good opportunities for discussing development of cooperation between judicial authorities. Lasar Gruev praised the development of mutual relations and economic cooperation between the two countries in recent years.

He noted there were good opportunities for development of cooperation between Bulgarian and Azerbaijani courts.
