Azerbaijan, Albania focus on coop issues

As a part of visit to Albania, Azerbaijani Minister of Economic Development Shahin Mustafayev has met with some official figures of the Albanian Republic, including Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha, deputy prime minister, Minister of Economy, Trade and Energy Edmond Haxhinasto, Minister of Finance Ridvan Bode, Minister of Transport Sokol Olldashi and Lulzim Basha, Mayor of Tirana city.

According to the Azerbaijani embassy in Greece and Albania, the meeting focused on bilateral relations, expanding cooperation between the two counties in the fields of economy and trade, implementation of the joint projects and investment issues.

During the meeting, AZPROMO president and Albanian Investment Development Agency made presentations over existing investment potentialities of countries they represent. During the visit, Minister Mustafayev has also visited the second largest city of Albania, Durres, and then port-Romano to familiarize himself with the infrastructure existing there.

Azerbaijani minister invited the Albanian counterpart Edmond Haxhinasto to visit Azerbaijan.
It was suggested that a business forum of Azerbaijani and Albanian businessmen is also forecasted to be organized within Mr. Haxhinasto`s visit to Azerbaijan.
