
Members of the Azerbaijani delegation to NATO Parliamentary Assembly Malahat Ibrahimgizi and Gudret Hasanguliyev will attend the 58th session of this organization. The event is to take place in Prague, the Czech Republic.
The session participants will focus on topical questions of the current political situation in the world, and also discuss priorities in the foreign policy and security field between the NATO and the Czech Republic.
The Prague session is expected to consider also some draft resolutions, including the future of democracy in Eastern Neighborhood, democratic transition in the Near and Middle East, the impact of Syrian developments on region and other territories, as well as the amendments made in the documents on the Trans-Atlantic relations after the Chicago summit.
The consequences of the Arab Spring for Euro-Atlantic Alliance, NATO’s role in marine security and fighting piracy, the East-West economic cooperation, the reasons and results of euro crisis, Afghanistan and Southwestern Asia’s security, climate change, nuclear energy after Fukushima, air transport without pilot and other questions are also on the agenda.
The visit will end on November 14.
