Azerbaijan is proud of the fact that Turkey is among a number of powerful states. Azerbaijani-Turkish relations, based on a strong foundation, are developing in all spheres, Deputy Prime Minister Abid Sharifov told journalists.

Azerbaijan and Turkey work together to ensure peace and security in the region, Sharifov said.

He noted that the trade turnover between the two fraternal countries is growing rapidly. A new level of our cooperation will give even more impetus to the growth of trade.

"The development of joint economic projects between Azerbaijan and Turkey has a positive impact not only on the economy of the two countries, but also on other countries," Sharifov said.

He noted that the joint projects implemented by Azerbaijan and Turkey contribute to the global energy map.
