Azerbaijani President receives head of Karachay-Cherkessia Republic

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received former Prime Minister of Romania, head and founder of Center-Right Civic Initiative Mihai Razvan Ungureanu.

During the meeting, they praised development of relations between Azerbaijan and Romania.

They stressed the importance of the strategic partnership agreement signed between Azerbaijan and Romania several years ago.

President Ilham Aliyev and the former Romanian Premier noted the role of bilateral relationship between Azerbaijan and Romania in expansion of the regional cooperation.

They said there were big opportunities to strengthen ties between the two countries even more.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received a delegation led by Rashid Temrezov, head of the Karachay-Cherkessia Republic of the Russian Federation.

The Head of State expressed confidence the delegation`s visit to Azerbaijan would be successful. President Ilham Aliyev stressed the importance of a joint business forum to be held in Baku.

President Ilham Aliyev underlined the necessity of strengthening of cooperation in all fields, including economic one.

The Head of State praised the importance of relations between various republics of Russia and Azerbaijan in terms of deepening of Azerbaijan-Russia bilateral ties.

The President said Rashid Temrezov`s visit to Azerbaijan would contribute to enhancing relationship. Head of the Karachay-Cherkessia Republic Rashid Temrezov hailed the ongoing development process in Baku.

Temrezov underlined the importance of the joint business forum in Baku, expressing confidence the event would contribute to expanding bilateral cooperation.
