'Azerbaijani model of tolerance is example for other countries'

“Azerbaijani model of tolerance is an example for other countries,” said visiting President of the Representative Council of the French Jewish Institutions (CRIF) Richard Prasquier in a meeting with Azerbaijan`s Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov.

During the meeting, they praised the current level of relations between Azerbaijan and France.
Touching upon the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Khalaf Khalafov said that non-settlement of the dispute was an obstacle for further development of Azerbaijan and whole region.

The Azeri Deputy FM underlined the necessity of increasing international community`s impact on invader Armenia and settlement of the conflict in accordance with the resolutions adopted by the UN Security Council and within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

Richard Prasquier expressed pleasure with his visit to Azerbaijan. Prasquier noted that there were ample opportunities to expand relations between Azerbaijan and France.
He thanked for the condition established for Jewish community in Azerbaijan and hailed the steps taken by Baku to bring closer civilizations and religions at international level.
